Our Story
Brooklyn Electrical Experts was born from a belief that every Brooklyn resident and business owner deserves access to honest, skilled electrical work at a fair price. When Ozni Lewis founded the company in 2019, he saw too many homeowners struggling with unlicensed contractors, unclear pricing, and delayed timelines.
Growing up in Brooklyn, Ozni understood the unique challenges of the borough's building stock — from pre-war brownstones with knob-and-tube wiring in Crown Heights to converted industrial lofts in Bushwick. He built his team around electricians who share that same deep local knowledge.
Today, Brooklyn Electrical Experts is a certified NYC Accelerator Sustainable Contractor and a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). These certifications reflect our commitment not just to quality electrical work, but to sustainable practices that benefit our community and the environment.
